It extract data from social medias like Twitter and Reddit, and mass media like CNN, USA Today, etc. It utilize NLTK (Natural Language Toolkit) and Python to achieve language processing and sentimental analysis of mass streams of information.
The underlying technologies and ideas of Sentdex is not quite novel, but the owners’ ability to display the data (or as the owner claims: “Quantifying the qualitative”) is truly impressive.

The owner of the website has a YouTube channel, amassing over 1 million subscribers as the time of the writing. The channel contains a massive amount of tutorials on python, NLP, Neural Networks, Robotics, etc.
